Relive Any Round with Round Replay

iOS 6.44.0

Round Replay is now open to every member, your putting stats show what's behind your three-putts, and Apple Watch keeps you on the right hole.

New

  • Round Replay for everyone: Tap Watch Round Replay on any finished round to relive it shot by shot. Each hole plays out on the satellite map with shot tracers and the club and lie for every shot, while your score, fairways, greens and Strokes Gained add up as you go. Pause, scrub or speed it up anytime.
  • What's behind your three-putts: Your putting card now shows what's causing three-putts, based on how far your first putt leaves you.
  • Check your sensors: A new sensor check tests each club's sensor, with a Run Again option if something looks off.

Improved

  • Right hole on Apple Watch: Your watch no longer jumps back to a hole you've already played.
  • Accurate shot times on Apple Watch: Shots are now timed when you hit them, not when your watch syncs with your phone.
  • Typical-Shot Score: The Skill Score card is now called Typical-Shot Score, with clearer wording about the shots you gain and lose.

Fixed

  • Signing in: The app no longer gets stuck on "Signing you in…"
  • Where is My Arccos Air: The Close button works again when you open it from Settings, then Diagnostics.
  • Stability: Fixed a Bluetooth-related crash and two causes of slowdowns in the background.

Arccos Air Stays Connected

iOS 6.43.1

Your Arccos Air now stays connected through brief signal drops, so you can stop force-quitting the app.

A golfer slipping Arccos Air into their pocket

Improved

  • Arccos Air stays connected: Your Air rides out brief signal drops on its own. No more force-quitting to get it back.
  • Back in the round sooner: When your Air does disconnect, it reconnects faster.
  • Fewer prompts in phone mode: The Bluetooth prompt now appears only when you use a Bluetooth feature, not at the start of every phone-mode round.

Fixed

  • No more ghost pairing prompts: An Air you used before can no longer interfere with the one in your bag today.
  • No false Smart Laser alerts: Opening the app no longer shows a "disconnected" alert for your Smart Laser.
  • Stability: Fixes for an Air that could get stuck connecting and for a crash on the Air pairing screen.

Penalty Strokes on Your Scorecard

iOS 6.42.0

Record penalty strokes right on your scorecard, and keep the edits you make by hand.

Logging penalty strokes on the Arccos scorecard

New

  • Penalties where they belong: Log a penalty stroke right on the scorecard. It stays put if you change your score later.
  • Share more at once: Send several round or scorecard images in a single share.

Improved

  • Your edits stay put: Shots and putts you fix by hand can no longer be overwritten when your Apple Watch or Arccos Air syncs.
  • Japanese and Korean: Improved translations across sign-in, settings and more.

Fixed

  • Switch holes without the freeze: The Live Map no longer stalls when you move between holes.

Apple Watch Reliability and Faster Round Starts

iOS 6.41.0

Apple Watch keeps tracking through calls and alarms, and rounds start without the wait.

Improved

  • More accurate putts: With a sensored putter, gimme putts are counted more accurately, and your last hole's putts now show up.
  • Japanese and Korean: Improved translations on Apple Watch, sharing and Round Highlights.

Fixed

  • Phone calls don't stop tracking: A call or alarm mid-round no longer switches off shot detection on Apple Watch.
  • Club suggestions on Apple Watch: Members starting a round from the watch no longer see "No subscription found."
  • Tee off without the wait: Starting a round no longer gets stuck on a loading spinner.
  • Back-to-back rounds: Your second round starts clean, with nothing carried over from the first.

Shotgun Starts and Strokes Gained Against Your Goal

iOS 6.40.0

Shots stay on the right hole during shotgun starts, and your round breakdown now leads with your goal.

Round stats and practice focus ranked against your goal

New

  • Strokes Gained against your goal: Your round breakdown now starts with how you played against your goal.
  • Holed-out distances: Round Details now shows how far your holed shots were.

Improved

  • Every hole counts the same: Your scoring average now weighs every hole equally, with your score to par underneath.
  • Japanese and Korean: Translations updated throughout the app.

Fixed

  • Shotgun starts: Starting on a different hole, or going back to an earlier one, no longer puts shots on the wrong hole.
  • Up & Down that matches: Your Up & Down stat now shows the same number in Activity and on the round.
  • Stability: Fixed a crash some members saw right after opening the app.

Firmware Updates That Don't Hold Up Your Round

iOS 6.39.0

Arccos Air firmware updates no longer stop you from teeing off, and rounds no longer end while you're still playing.

New

  • Update later: An Arccos Air firmware update no longer blocks you from starting a round. A yellow icon lets you know one is ready, and you can install it when it suits you.
  • Time remaining: Firmware updates now show a countdown.
  • Weather hole by hole: AI Strategy now forecasts the weather for each hole as you'll play it, including shotgun starts.

Improved

  • Shots without a club: You can add or edit a shot without picking a club.
  • Voice scoring on long rounds: Scores you log by voice keep saving, however long the round runs.

Fixed

  • Rounds stay open: Rounds no longer end on their own while you're still playing.
  • Reconnecting after an update: Arccos Air reconnects on its own after a firmware update.
  • Stability: Fixed crashes when ending a round as Arccos Air disconnects, and when switching holes by hand.

Display Zoom Support and a Cleaner Notes Editor

iOS 6.38.0

Arccos now fits iPhones set to Display Zoom, and round notes get a cleaner editor.

Improved

  • Display Zoom: If your iPhone uses larger Display Zoom, distances and controls during a round are no longer cut off.
  • Round notes: The notes editor has a cleaner look that matches the rest of the app.
  • Shared scorecards: The shot count on a shared scorecard now matches your Round Story.

Fixed

  • Stability: Fixed a crash on the Start Round screen.

Apple Watch and Phone, in Sync

iOS 6.37.2

Your Apple Watch and phone now agree on every shot and putt, and Arccos Air recovers on its own when it gets stuck connecting.

New

  • Rate your warm-up: Give your pre-round warm-up a thumbs up or down, or generate a fresh plan.

Improved

  • Apple Watch and phone in sync: Gimme putts are no longer counted twice, shots you delete on your phone disappear from your watch too, and pins you set on your watch carry over.
  • No more force-quitting: If Arccos Air or your Smart Laser gets stuck connecting, it now recovers on its own within seconds.
  • Stats that match: Greens in regulation, fairways and up-and-downs on your Activity tab now match your scorecard.
  • Start Round remembers: Your tee and starting hole stay put when you switch tabs.
  • Help guides: Strokes Gained, pairing help and tips have been refreshed in Settings.

Fixed

  • Long Apple Watch rounds: Watch rounds no longer end on their own after an hour.
  • Round settings: Tee box, round type and ball no longer show as blank after you save.
  • Arccos Air without sensors: Full shots are detected again on rounds where they were being missed and only putts were picked up.
  • Meta AI glasses: Starting a round from your glasses is more reliable. Learn more about Arccos on Meta AI glasses.
